October 2025 Update:
We are launching the new Provider Directory! This launch is limited, and we need your help getting more submissions and improving our directory. See below for how to submit yourself to the directory, share the submission form with affirming providers, or get involved in the project.
Provider Directory Mission:
Providing information for queer people to make informed decisions about how to access health care to meet their needs.
About the Directory:
This directory is composed of provider-submitted entries that have been reviewed by members of Queering Medicine. Entries can be from anywhere in Michigan with a focus on Lansing-based providers. We have used the information provided to recommend them to the Lansing community, however we cannot guarantee the accuracy or vouch for all patients' experiences. If you have questions or concerns about the directory or a particular entry, please email queeringmedicine@protonmail.com.

Hello!
A small grassroots advocacy group named Queering Medicine (QM), based out of Lansing, is compiling a detailed list of queer-affirming providers in and around Lansing. I appreciate your care and wanted to share the link to submission form to be added to the directory. Providers who appear to be a good fit for the target population will be included in the directory free of charge.
If you know of other providers in Michigan who are LGBTQ-affirming and may like to be listed in the directory, please forward this to them. If you want to know more about QM, here is the link to their website.

Can't find a provider?
Our directory is still very limited in scope, so you might not find a provider that fits your needs. We would love your help in expanding the directory, but in the meantime, here are some other Michigan directories of affirming providers that we recommend:

The current needs we have are outreach to providers, reviewing submissions, and improving the directory format. We would like to build a searchable and filterable public database. If you have relevant database and/or website development skills, we would love your help!
